» Ancient & Medieval Philosophy
(I have two research directions: (i) ancient and medieval morality (Aristotle, Epicurus, Plotinus, Albert the Great, Aquinas et al.), and (ii) medieval problem of knowledge (e.g., the medieval concept of auctoritas, Roger Bacon on scientia universalis). The common point of the two major research directions is the idea of translatio studii, translatio auctoritatis.)
» History of Ethics
(Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Kant, J.S. Mill, R.M. Hare. et alii)
» Applied Ethics
(Business Ethics, Mass-Media Ethics, Conflict Ethics)
» Applied Ethics - Moral decision-making in companies and Ethics & Compliance management systems » Ancient & Medieval Ethical Theories - Mechanisms of moral action; Aristotle and his reception in the Western Middle Ages (strong emphasis on Thomas Aquinas' thought)
» Medieval Culture - How 'auctoritas' used to be understood
