Today, we are announcing a new project. The European Ethics & Compliance Association has partnered with act legal Romania, led by Stefan Botezatu, to bring a new platform for exchanging knowledge and innovative ideas, learned lessons and best practices, regulatory changes and trends. Business Integrity Talks (BITs) is a unique event series, designed to foster dialogue on the practical aspects of corporate ethics, risk and responsibility.
The first meeting will take place on June 23 and we will discuss the new European Anti-corruption Directive (Directive (EU) 2026/1021) and the upcoming National Anti-corruption Strategy. Our main goal is to help the business community and the G-R-E-C-S* professionals get ready for the upcoming changes.
Our speakers for this first meeting are: Claudia Pavel from the Romanian Ministry of Justice, Crime Prevention Directorate, Andrei Croitoru from act legal Romania, and Cristian Ducu from the Centre for Advanced Research in Management and Applied Ethics.
